Choralis depends on donations to cover a substantial portion of our operating costs, as well as to fund special projects.  Gifts of time from volunteers also are very important to Choralis. Annual Campaign

Donations to our Annual Campaign help Choralis meet concert production costs and enable our High School Singing Scholar and other education outreach programs. Employer Matching Gifts

If you or a family member works for an employer who offers a Matching Gift Program, Choralis will promptly complete any necessary forms or certifications to draw down the additional funds following your donation.  Not sure if your employer has a matching program?   Ask your Human Resources Department or check online using this link: Matching Gifts

Stock Donations

Choralis is happy to accept donations of publicly traded stock. If you would like to make a gift of stock to Choralis, please send an email to treasurer@choralis.org to obtain the information you will need.

J. Reilly Lewis Memorial Fund

Donations to this fund honor the late Dr. J. Reilly Lewis by supporting the J. Reilly Lewis Singing Scholar program and the J. Reilly Lewis Outstanding Merit Award, each offered annually to a talented high school choral musician.

No-Cost Giving

There also are ways to support Choralis without making a donation, including volunteering to help with Choralis concerts or other activities.

Choralis welcomes volunteers as ushers and box office team members for our concerts, as well as members of our committees that plan the Greater Washington Area Choral Excellence Awards and other special events. Corporate and Foundation Support

Corporate donations to Choralis generally are used to support the Greater Washington Area Choral Excellence (Ovations) Awards and similar community-focused events and foundation support generally assists Choralis with meeting general operating expenses.  Choralis gratefully acknowledges corporate and foundation gifts on our website, in our concert programs, and in marketing of any event for which funding has specifically been provided.
