Choralis is now accepting applications for its 2018 Young Artists Competition.  Aspiring singers ages 22 through 32 are invited to compete to be the featured soloists for the Choralis “Century of the Common Man” concert on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at The National Presbyterian Church in Washington, DC.  Featured solos will be excerpts from the Britten War Requiem  and Vaughan Williams Dona Nobis Pacem and a full performance of Jongen’s Messe en l’honneur du Saint-Sacrement, Op.130 with brass, percussion, and pipe organ.

The 2018 Young Artist Competition is being held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at Fairfax Presbyterian Church, 10723 Main Street, Fairfax, VA 22030.  It will be open to the public and judged by the Choralis artistic staff.  The four winners (soprano, alto, tenor, and bass) will receive an honorarium and their names will be included in concert publicity.
