The 2018 Choralis Young Artists Competition (YAC) is being held on Saturday, September 8th, from 10:00 am to approximately 2:00 pm at Fairfax Presbyterian Church. In each of the first two years of the YAC, more than 20 emerging solo artists (ages 22-32) competed to be featured as guest soloists for a Choralis concert. This year’s winners (a Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass) will be soloists for the “Century of the Common Man” concert at National Presbyterian Church, Washington, DC on October 14th.
The public is welcome to attend the YAC at no charge and hear the talented young singers. (Attendees may come and go between competitor performances, but not during please!) The church address is 10723 Main Street, Fairfax (look for an access road called Presbyterian Way to reach the ample parking lot.)
