Choralis invites area singers to participate in its 2019 Summer Sings series. The Summer Sings provide opportunities to sing-through choral masterworks, led by Artistic Director Gretchen Kuhrmann, with professional soloists and keyboard accompaniment. The previously announced schedule of Summer Sings was recently revised so that the two 2019 Summer Sing dates are now Tuesday, July 30th and Tuesday, August 13th.

The choral masterwork sung on July 30th will be Brahms Ein deutsches Requiem (sung in German), with soloists Katelyn Aungst, Soprano and Mark Wanich, Bass. Two choral masterworks will be sung on August 13th, the beloved Mozart Requiem and the beautiful contemporary Requiem by Bob Chilcott. Soloists on August 13th include: Mary Shaffran, Soprano; Roger Isaacs, Countertenor, John Downey, Tenor, and James Shaffran, Bass.

Both Summer Sings will take place beginning at 7:00 pm at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 3022 Woodlawn Avenue (at the intersection with Route 50), Falls Church, VA. There is ample parking available in church lots. Admission is $15 and score rental will be available for an additional $5.
