Choralis is pleased to announce the winners of our 2018 Young Artists Competition held on September 8, 2018.  In addition to receiving a cash prize, the four winners will be featured soloists for the upcoming Choralis “Century of the Common Man” concert, performing Messe en l’honneur du Saint- Sacrement by Joseph Jongen and other selections.  The winners are:

Crossley Danielle Hawn, Soprano

Kate Jackman, Mezzo-Soprano

James Stevens, Tenor

The “Century of the Common Man” concert is being held on October 14, 2018 at The National Presbyterian Church, Washington, DC.  More information about the concert and a link for purchasing tickets is available here.

Choralis established the Young Artists Competition in 2016 to give aspiring young vocal soloists the opportunity to be featured in concert with Choralis. The winners also receive a cash prize and their names are included in publicity for the concert.   The competition is open to singers ages 22 through 32 and is held on a Saturday in September or October.
